The Cranberries - Ridiculous Thoughts

How do I not have a song by The Cranberries on here? I am still really bummed that Dolores O' Riordan is not with us, but grateful she left us with such great music. Ridiculous Thoughts showcases just how great of a voice she had and what made them such a great band.

Pearl Jam - Pendulum

Pearl Jam was my it band for much of my high school and college days. I do not listen to them as much anymore, but I still think they make good music. Here is my favorite of their newer stuff. Very mellow and chill.

The Drodge And Summers Blend - Two of the Lucky Ones

I have never seen Zombieland and so I had never heard of this song. It was well after I had fallen in love with this song that I found out it was part of that movie. Such a chill song that I still enjoy. Have a listen:

States - Circles

It is probably a good idea to have some States to go in our catalog of deep tracks. Mindy White previously from Lydia, is very talented and States was a wonderful project to showcase her ability. I am not sure they are a band anymore, but they made some good songs that I still enjoy. Here is one of my favorites:

Alison Moyet - This House

Keeping with the theme, Alison Moyet's voice is just ...just ... perfection. This House has always been one of my favorites. Have a listen:

The Assembly - Never Never

A couple if things: Did you know there was a band in-between Depeche Mode, Yazoo, and Erasure? The Assembly was just that, with Feargal Sharkey teaming up with Vince Clarke. Also, and this may be more interesting, how do they all sound the same? This could be Andy Bell, or Alison Moyet. Would not be able to tell the difference. Anyway, enjoy today's deep track:

Peter Bjorn and John - The Chills

I had never heard of this band when I went to see Depeche Mode in concert. They opened that night and they were so much fun. I decided to check them out and came across one of the coolest songs I have ever heard. Have a listen:

Erasure - I Bet You're Mad at Me

I have always liked Erasure. They are one of the first bands that I ever listened to and have been a staple of my playlists ever since. They are also a band that I have never seen in concert, but would like to someday. When they come around they sell out so quickly I have not been able to secure tickets. Nightbird is a great album from Erasure and this is one of my favorites from them.

Depeche Mode - Ice Machine

Depeche Mode was one of the first bands that I ever liked. It is amazing to me that they are still around as a band and still making quality music. The concerts are still fun and the energy is still there. An original deep track, this one goes back to the days of the first album. Have a listen:

Norah Jones - Humble Me

Keeping on the theme of chill songs, Norah Jones, Humble Me just hits the spot. So smooth, so chill, great lyrics. "It never rains when you want it to." Have a listen:

Matchbox 20 - You Won't Be Mine

When I need a good chill song, this is my go to. I am not sure how you define something that is under rated, but if there ever was a song that fits the description this is it. This song has everything, from a cool sound to great lyrics that reach deep. Give it a listen:
